"The Fifth Wave"

Welcome!

Although I said I'd be posting on "Shadow of the Colossus", I just had to tell you guys about this book. You have probably heard about it, but here's what I think about Rick Yancey's "The Fifth Wave".
This book was incredible, the was written, the characters' personality, the story, everything. My only complaint about it is that it ended, I'm not kidding. The book was very descriptive of everything, the environment, characters, senses, feelings, and views. The author managed to convey different characters' thoughts and feelings accurately enough that I as the reader felt as if I was in that world, where I didn't really know what was going on, where I couldn't trust anyone, where my home planet was being invaded and my family was gone. There is a second part to this book that I'm currently reading and will post on it as soon as I finish it as well as a third one. In case you are interested in the second book, it's titled "The Infinite Sea" and the third is "The Last Star". Also, there is a movie based on the book "The Fifth Wave" titled the same, however I'm told that the movie is terrible, but I have not watched it so I can't judge.

Have you read this book or are interested in it? Have you watched the movie? If you've both read the book and watched the movie, how would you compare them? What about the other two books? Please answer in the comments below!
Until next time!
