My first try at editing!

Hi everyone! First of all, I'm so sorry for not posting anything in almost a year. I'm going to try and post more frequently from now on, so keep checking regularly! With this post, I wanted to show you guys a new interest of mine: editing. Using Hitfilm Express by FX Home, I edited a video for my mom and made her an intro for all of her videos. In her blog, Simply Rebeca, she posts different scrapbook projects that she makes, and she also has a YouTube channel, Instagram, and Facebook where she shares videos and pictures of her projects. This is the first video that I have ever edited, and I'm looking forward to improving my skills. To anyone interested in editing and compositing, Hitfilm Express is an excellent program, with a lot of possibilities, and even better, it's FREE!  There is also a version called Hitfilm Pro, but this one is paid. Below is a link to the video I edited for my mom and another for her blog. Please, leave a comment so I can improve my editing...

PQ 20: Frieza! Show Yourself!

Image
Hi! With this post I'll be covering Parallel Quest 20 "Frieza! Show Yourself!" As the name suggests, this PQ has to do with the evil Lord Frieza, who is extremely powerful. He has four forms, each with a large margin of improvement from the previous form. This villain meets his end in planet Namek, where Goku becomes a Super Sayan for the first time. This is Frieza in his final form. He is not, however, at full power. In Dragon Ball Super he can transform once more, to reach his golden state. This quest takes place in plant Namek, and the objective is to lure and defeat Frieza. To do this, I had to defeat Frieza's henchmen, which came in waves. Once the total of defeated henchmen reached twenty, Frieza would decide to show himself. Upon his defeat, which came swiftly in my case, the quest would be completed and you would be successful. In my next post, I'll be writing about PQ 21, so come back soon!

Parrallel Quests

Hi everyone! Before I begin writing on the Parallel Quests, I want to let you know all there is to them. First off, Parallel Quests, for those of you who don't know, are the quests that are received at the Offline Parallel Quest counter. Once you are in the menu, you can select one of the categories that include an "All" category and several others that range from 1 star to 7 stars of difficulty, as you unlock them. The PQ's can be done at any time, but personally, I like to complete all of them after I finish all the lessons and before I start on the Story Quests. Related to my following posts, I will only be covering 1 mission per post, but I might release several posts a day. Anyways, until next time!

Training Under Tien!

Image
Hi everyone! Today I'll be posting on Tien's second lesson. Before I begin, I want to apologize for two reasons, the first being that I have not reached the description of Tien and his appearance in the Dragon Ball series, therefore I cannot provide a description of his background. The second reason is that this will be an extremely short post owing to the fact that all I have is Tien's second lesson. This is Tien Shinhan, another earthling warrior. That aside, this lesson consisted of me defeating Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha. However, the final move had to be the Tri-Beam super attack. This move is quick and can be charged to raise its attack and its range. Tri-Beam is shaped like a triangular beam of blue ki. The next post will be not on training, but on Parallel Quests! Come back soon!

Training Under Vegeta!

Image
Welcome back! As promised, today I'll be posting on my training with Vegeta, prince of the Sayans. At the beginning, Vegeta is an evil character who wants to destroy Earth and kill all of its inhabitants. Afterwards, he becomes less aggressive (though it is a VERY slow process) and helps Goku and his friends defend the planet he had been so keen to destroy. This is Vegeta, prince of the Sayans. Back to the point of discussion. The first thing I did was take Vegeta's initiation test, since he had just become available as an instructor. To complete it, I had to deplete Vegeta's health a certain amount, and I was taught how to use the super Galick Gun. This move is similar to the Kamehameha, but it is purple, has less basic charging time, and can be charged to increase its potential. Vegeta's first training was to defeat some Saibamen as well as Vegeta; the final attack had to be the super Finish Breaker. This super attack is just a series of strong ki blasts tha...

Training Under Yamcha!

Image
Hi everyone! Today's post will be on my lessons with Yamcha, an earthling martial artist who used to live in the desert, but moved to the city. He has taken part in several martial arts tournaments, and is a friend of Goku, Krillin, and other characters in the Dragon Ball series. Yamcha also used to be Bulma's boyfriend. Enough on Yamcha, lets get started on the lessons! This is Yamcha, pumped and ready to fight! For his second lesson, Yamcha decided to have me beat the Saibamen and taught me the move Ki Blast Thrust. This super is basically a strong punch that is surrounded with ki and causes a mini explosion upon impact that launches the opponent. On the other hand, Yamcha's third lesson consisted of defeating him, using Spirit Ball as the final attack. Spirit Ball is an ultra attack that consists of a large ki orb with high homing abilities, and if you press the button at the right moment, you can get the attack to land more hits. Upon completion, I had accumul...

Training Under Piccolo!

Image
Hi everyone! With this post I'll be informing you all of my training with Piccolo. For those of you who don't know who he is, Piccolo is a Namekian and the son of demon king Piccolo, who was Kame's evil half. He used to be evil as well, but he changed and became one of the heroes. During his first lesson, all I had to do was defeat Piccolo's clones. As a reward, I was taught the Super Explosive Wave super, which consists of a beam that looks kind of orange. This attack is also more powerful the closer you are to your opponent. This is Piccolo, wearing the Demon Clothes outfit. Piccolo's third lesson consisted of defeating Piccolo, Krillin, and Yamcha, and the final move had to be the Light Grenade super. This move is basically an overpowered ki blast and is chargeable. Come back soon for another training session, next time with Yamcha!
